DIEN TECH provides a variety of crystals with medium and long wave, each of which has its own unique physical and chemical properties. For specific parameters, please refer to our company website:www.dientech.com.
When choosing different nonlinear crystal, we should pay attention to the transparency range firstly, and then make comprehensive considerations based on the nonlinear coefficient, thermal conductivity, absorption coefficient, cost-effectiveness, etc.
OPO/OPA/DFG for 1um pump
Crystal: LGS
Angle: 50.8°/0° XZ-cut
Size: 6x6x4mm
Selection reason: large band-gap, high thermal conductivity
Crystal: AGS
Angle: 42°/45°
Nonlinear coefficient:11.5 pm/V
Selection reason: high nonlinear coefficient
There are many crystals to choose from in 1.55um, and most crystals do not have two-photon absorption, or have low two-photon absorption. In view of this, it is recommended to use crystals with higher nonlinear coefficients.
OPA/DFG for 1.55um pump
Crystal: BGSe
Angle: 44°/0° XZ-cut
Size: 7x7x2mm
Nonlinear coefficient:14pm/V
OPA/DFG for 1.55um pump
Crystal: BGGSe
Angle: 26°/42.7°
Size: 7x7x2mm
Nonlinear coefficient:27pm/V
OPA/DFG for 1.55um pump
Crystal: AGSe
Angle: 60°/45°
Size: 7x7x2mm
Nonlinear coefficient:34pm/V
OPA/DFG for 1.55um pump
Crystal: GaSe Z-cut
Size: D7x2mm
Nonlinear coefficient:56pm/V
DFG for 1.94+2.3-3.5um pump
Crystal: ZGP
Angle:50°/0°
Size: 5x5x1mm
Nonlinear coefficient:76pm/V
Selection reason:high Nonlinear coefficient, high thermal conductivity
For DFG in1.94+2.3-3.5um, all crystals in the 1.55um can be selected, but ZGP crystal is the best choice in my opinion.
